Raised Aspirations

The wearing of the gowns and mortar boards really raises aspirations and sets the scene for future study. It also makes it a very different event and doesn't end up being just another assembly. I look forward to seeing you in July!

Quality of Service

The My World project introduces pupils to the world of work, whilst developing their life skills and aspirations for the future. A key element of the project is the graduation ceremony. The pupils have the opportunity to use all their skills and showcase the key element of the project to their families and invited guests at the celebration event.

Feeling Grown Up

We’ve been using caps and gowns from Young Graduate for a number of years; we introduce young people to University life, and making them feel like they belong at University. Having the iconic caps and gowns for young people to wear makes them feel so grown up.

Dijonn has always been a total pleasure to work with, communicating with her is a dream, she’s super speedy to reply to email, and her team always deliver/collect the supplies right on time. Huge thanks, pleasure to work with you

How We Began

Young Graduate was founded in 1997 by Dijonn Taylor. Living close to Manchester's University she saw many graduate's doning their bright cap and gowns as they made their way to have all their hard work and achievements recognised. Dijonn's vision was that every young person in her local area should have the opportunity of experiencing a graduation ceremony in recognition of their efforts and achievements. In May 2022, Dijonn was nominated by the Department of Education to attend the Queen's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, in recognition of her services to education and children services.

Try Young Graduate today

It is so refreshing to work with a company that has such excellent customer service, I know that I can rely on Young Graduate, for the quality of their gowns, on their service and most importantly on their own interaction with the children that I work with.
